As a Frontend Web Developer/Designer at DevHub, you'll play a key role in building and implementing web experiences used to power over 244 enterprise brands in the Restaurant, Retail, Home services, Franchise and Manufacturing industries. Collaborate with the design and customer success teams to translate visual designs into functional websites using the DevHub platform toolset
Develop clean, efficient, and well-structured HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code
Read and implement customer brand guidelines requirements into your CSS styles
Customize templates and plugins to meet project requirements.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize websites for mobile devices
Implement interactive and dynamic elements using JavaScript frameworks and libraries
Collaborate with the back-end development team to build front-end templates utilizing server-side functionality and data
Collaborate with the customer success teams to ensure designs are implemented correctly and meet requirements
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure smooth functionality and optimal performance
Optimize page experiences using Google Core Web Vitals best practices, scores, and Lighthouse reports
Implement ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) and WCAG best practices and guidelines into customer projects as needed
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in front-end web development and implement them in projects.
Provide technical guidance and support to the team as needed.
2+ years of experience in website development and building websites
Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS
Experience with theme development or HTML templating languages (i.e. WordPress, Shopify, Django, or Handlebars)
Proficiency in responsive web design and mobile-first development.
Experience with writing interactive Javascript (i.e. jQuery or Vanilla JS) to add interactions (hover, click events) to your HTML/CSS
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working and collaborating with teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment
Amazing time management skills, with prior experience in a time-sensitive development environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to implement pixel-perfect designs.
